Jack Wallace was born, raised, and educated in North Bay. He graduated from Thornloe College, Laurentian University, B.A., in 1967, attended the University of British Columbia, and obtained a J.D. in 1970. Jack was called to the bar in 1972 and immediately joined the family firm of Wallace & Carr. He has practiced mainly in Real Estate, Corporate, Commercial, Estates and some general law. Jack is married to Gwen and has three children. He has had the privilege of being on the following boards:

  • Director and Past President of the Children's Aid Society of Nipissing;
  • Charter member, director and Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Nipissing;
  • Co-Chairman, Manpower Committee of the Kiwanis Festival of Music and Dance;
  • Director, Past President and Advisor of the North Bay Curling & Athletic Corporation;
  • Charter Member and Director of the Near North Crime Stoppers;
  • Past President of the Nipissing Law Association and Member of The County and District Law Presidents' Association;
  • Member of the Canadian Bar Association;
  • Advisor to Ferris Glen Public School charity;
  • A friend and legal advisor to the North Bay Indian Friendship Centre, and the Native People of Nipissing Non-Profit Housing Corporation;
  • Director of Kennedy Fall Fellowship; and
  • His recreational interests include curling, boating, snowmobiling, and fishing.

Jack maintains a general practice, including the following areas of law:
